How do Ofsted view Birth-Three Matters?
What the inspector looks for:-
- If and how the framework is used in the setting, eg in observing and planning to meet the individual needs of all children.
- How the setting uses the framework to promote the outcomes for children under three.
- How the use of the framework influences the outcomes for children.
The Ofsted inspector will therefore discuss how and if you use Birth-Three Matters at your next inspection.
How do I get started ?
The Early Years Learning & Family Support Team offer free training sessions to give you an understanding of the framework, and how it can be used to support your work with the children in your care. We also offer other related workshops on Child Development.
