Wraparound Care
An increasing number of schools are developing childcare that ‘wraps around' their nursery provision. For example, a child who attends nursery in the morning may be looked after in the ‘Wraparound’ childcare facility in the afternoon thus allowing their parent/carer to attend work or training.
As with other forms of childcare, the Wraparound has to be registered and inspected and parent/carers have to pay for the childcare they use.
