Help for Lone Parents
New Deal for Lone Parents is a Government strategy for getting people back into work. If you are a lone parent whose youngest child is under 16 and you are not working (or working under 16 hours per week) you can get help from the scheme.
You will have access to a personal advisor who will, among other things, advise on what funding is available towards course fees, travel and childcare as well as calculating how much better off you could be in a job.
