Volunteering
Working as a volunteer can be very fulfilling and is also a way to find out whether working with children is for you. Most settings including playgroups, day nurseries and schools welcome the contribution that volunteers can make. As with other occupations anyone volunteering to work with children will normally need to have Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) and health checks to ensure their suitability to work with children.
